Flowers in 2011

The holidays passed and we stepped into a new year. As 2011 started, I'm sure that many of you had made lots of New Year resolutions. I have made only one. I just wish to go on admiring the beauty of flowers, making my Elena happy sendinh her lots of beautiful bunches of flowers. I came to understand how the beauty of flowers complement our lives, giving it a brand new dimension. This brand new dimension enhances human being's capacity to come to recognize and appreciate every little detail, aspect of his/her life. Until we take delight in the beauty of a single flower, we're happy persons. Moreover until we're thinking about our beloved, and try to make her happy by sending her a bunch of flowers, we can claim an affinity to the noble feeling of love. Flowers in December

As Saint Nicholas' Day is approaching, I realize how little days we have of this year. December is a very special month. It debutes in Romania with Saint Nicholas' Day, a lovely holiday that finds children and adults exchanging gifts, presents, sweets and flowers. After Saint Nicholas' Day we count the number until Christmas, to surprise our dearest ones with something nice. The best gift is a Poinsettia flower, that represents the true spirit of Christmas. It is precisely this true spirit of Christmas that is encoded in every single flower. What does the true spirit of Christmas symbolize? First of all kindness, warmth, true sentiments, colors and scents- all meant to make us better to each other.  Flowers can teach us all these things, this is why is good to have flowers in your house. Flowers help us fill our soul with joy. Thus, having flowers near, we can prepare for the upcoming holidays. Flowers enlighten our rooms, filling them with beauty and scents. Colors, scents, their outlook al contribute for a special atmosphere where our soul can rest and recharge. I do believe that flowers are the greatest gift of Nature to us. In Romania Saint Nicholas' Day will be celebrated on the 6 of December. He is Santa Claus, who visits children and adulst alike to bring them little gifts, sweets. I wish to help Saint Nicholas to surprise my Carmen. I'm thinking of sending her a sweets basket and a bunch of lovely flowers. She is very fond of flowers.
